Recipe:
1 part tequila
1 part orange curacao
1 part grapefruit juice
1/2~1 tsp blue curacao
2~3 parts tonic water

Shake all but tonic water. Build over ice in Collins glass.

Notes:
Original recipe by Kazuo Uyeda from Cocktail Techniques book.

Add ice to glass, stir to chill, then discard any ice melt. Add all ingredients but tonic to shaker, stir, then check color and taste. Increase blue curacao until it reaches desired shade of blue, then add more tequila and/or grapefruit juice if necessary. Shake, add spirits and grapefruit juice to glass, add tonic, then lift ice with bar spoon to mix.

On tonics:
Jack Rudy and Hanson’s are sweeter. Q tonic and Fever tree are more bitter and bubbly. Tomr’s sweeter and more woodsy.
